Happy B-Day!

last sunday we had trent's birthday bbq. i know that his birthday isn't until june, but i will not be with him on his birthday (story to come) so i threw him a party with some friends from here. i decided to make his favorite-mud pie and i asked him to crush the oreos and as he was doing that his hand slipped and oreos went everywhere, that is why i am vacuuming the stove. we had chicken and shrimp, pasta salad, salsa dip, potatoes and mud pie. jenna and john made homemake cinnamon tortilla chips and cut up fruit. it was so good and fun to have everyone over and just relax. trent is done with his second semester of school and he did awesome. all that studying paid off. now we are down to one semester and i can't wait until it's over. the picture with weenie is john and jena and john teases jena all the time that he hates dogs and so he has a mad face on that weenie is sitting on him.-last time they came over weenie got too excited and actually peed a little bit on john so now he really pretends to hate him but we always find him playing with weenie. i think he secretly loves him!

the pictures of the boys playing basketball are from a bbq at a friends house in the ward. i actually babysit their kids once in awhile and will probably have them come stay the night next weekend since i will be moved into the new apartment and will be without trent so i will need some company. we had bbq chicken there and it was incredible just spicy enough that you could just keep eating it. they are actually going to help me move, which i am so grateful for since trent is not here.

so the story goes like this: when trent is not in school he has to go back to utah to work or he doesn't get paid. i wasn't sure what to do since he still has one more semester and would be coming back in august, so we decided that i would stay here over the summer and trent would go to utah and every few weeks we would visit eachother. and that way i would still have my job through december because i worried that if i quit and came back with trent in august i wouldn't know what to do for three months. so once school got out trent relaxed for a few days and then this past wednesday i took him to the airport (i will follow in two weeks) as trent was going through the security line i started to cry so i ran to the car and cried most of the hour trip home. when i walked in the door i just started crying again and felt awful. i just knew that i had made the wrong decision, so once trent hit his overlay i talked to him on the phone and told him how i felt and we both decided i needed to be with him. so to make a long story short i quit my job and since then have felt so much better. it was really hard because i love my job and its something that i want to continue to do in the future. i am not sure if we will work something out to where i will come back in august, but my boss was so understanding and actually hugged me because i was so emotional, if you know me at all you know i can never hold back my emotions. so i am done in two weeks and will be in utah with trent for the whole summer. i have not decided if i will try to find a job or if i will just play and go visit family. so-i love my husband for supporting me in my decision to quit my job and for doing so well in school. he is just amazing and i don't want to be away from him ever again. i love you!
