my best friend finally made it to indiana. she had decided to come for thanksgiving forever ago and it felt like it would never come. i had
thursday-
sunday off so she flew in
tuesday night and
trent took care of her
wednesday, while i worked. that night for
louisiana old times sake we went to buffalo wild wings.
jordan and willie i know you are jealous. we ate a lot for you, don't worry.

the three of us just
chillin. we were pretty good at it this week!
wednesday night we decided that we didn't want to get up early to fix the pies (
kim's pie needed to be in the fridge for 8 hours) so we got to work after dinner at
bw's. i was so excited because my pie turned out this year. last years pie was just thrown away, so i was super stoked.
kim made an apple pie cheesecake and man was it DELICIOUS. i kept the recipe and i might attempt it next year.
trent being goofy-as always

this semester i have become really domestic in the kitchen and so since i was feeling saucy i thought i would attempt homemade rolls. i guess i should just figure that new things i try during thanksgiving are not going to work out. i think i will just have to be taught by my mother-in-law.

this is us after dinner. we were
SOOOOOOOOOOO full. even weenie was exhausted. we taught him how to lay down with some leftover ham. i think he really enjoyed it.

it's sushi baby!

on
kim's last night we got together with some friends of
ours and went to Australia, which by the way is a great movie. girls be ready to cry and maybe even some of you boys. then after the movie we headed over to
Asahi for some sushi. i must say that what
everbody got was incredible and i want some props because most of you know i hate fish (other than shrimp and crab) so my friend got a roll with salmon in it. i tried it and even liked it. i was so proud of myself.

this pic is a little blurry but i had to post it. that is my friend on the left and she and her husband just moved here from
utah. she is my shopping buddy and will let me take her baby whenever i need to.
hahaha. thanks everyone for a wonderful night.
kim i already miss you, but i already have plans to be seeing you VERY SOON! love you and glad you got back safe.

Yea for sushi! Thanks for coming with us, it was so much fun!
That picture with the rolls is hilarious! I always just do the Rhodes rolls, I think I'm too worried that homemade ones won't turn out.
It sounds like you guys had a fun Thanksgiving and that's awesome that your friend was able to be there too!
Looks like you guys had a great time. I have actually been into Sushi lately. it is wonderful and addicting. :) Weenie... cracks me up!
YOUR COMING BACK TO UTAH!!!! Horray! You have no idea how happy that makes me. I am thrilled!
My coat is from old navy. They had it in a bunch of cute colors. You should go check them out. It would be so cute on you.
