i want a new camera.

trent has been playing on a flag football team with some friends and i have tried and tried to get good pictures but NO SUCH LUCK. this is the best picture i could get. i tried with the flash, without the flash, sports shot, and night shot. i was getting so mad that i just gave up. i told trent he has about 4 months to get me a new camera (before the baby comes). i love going to the games and cheering for t. i am still in shock that it's feb. and he is wearing shorts. i love texas!

since all we do now is house stuff, that will probably be most of my posts for a while. *these posts will be more fore me so i can remember all the things we've done. saturday was beautiful and i took full advantage of being outside. i am not kidding when our yard has been taken over by thistle weeds. i bought some gloves a few weeks ago without thinking to try them on-they were WAY to big and i couldn't pull weeds. so i bought myself some new (pink) gloves and i pulled like crazy. that bed was FULL of weeds and i got them all pulled. in the background you can see the bushes that i trimmed the week before. that big bush has berries on it and weenie had a blast eating them all, i hope he doesn't get sick.

we started demolition on the floor. we first took the carpet out and then trent took the pad out, we are going to store the carpet in the attic until the stairs need to be replaced. trent got the baseboards off the two rooms (without breaking them) and now all we have to do is get the rest of the floor out so we can get started on the new floor.


i have a feeling this tile is going to be hard to get out because it's on the cement. we are going to hang plastic sheets so we can try to keep the dust in a central area (since i spent like 4 days cleaning the house) i'm just so anxious to get it done-but it will be a while.

the other night trents dad called and surprised us. he bought us a ladder!!!! i couldn't believe it. they said it was a house warming gift. i feel so blessed to have such wonderful inlaws. thank you so much for the gift, we are so excited and can't wait to use it-you guys are the best.
