thanksgiving

 so my cute friend sewed this weenie dog onesie for mya and she FINALLY fits in it.  the rest of the body and tail wrap around her side and onto the back.  it is so adorable.  thanks jamie! it's trents favorite piece of clothing and so he said she had to wear it for thanksgiving.  thank goodness it was warm enough for her to wear just the onesie.  as you can see we are having some difficulties with her hair.  i'm not sure what to do with it, it's just growing very crazy.

for thanksgiving trent and i are always by ourselves.  we sort of like the tradition but welcome anyone who wants to visit.  this year some friends of ours weren't going anywhere either so we decided to get together.  she made a turkey, we made a ham.  yep we had both for 4 people.  we also had sides for about 30 people.  we are still eating leftovers.  it was delicious.  we broke up the cooking and it was so nice not to be in the kitchen ALL DAY.  we actually went for a walk (in short sleeves) it was beautiful!

 believe it or not hailey is actually 6 weeks older than mya.

 not only is her hair growing at different lengths all over her head, it's about 3 different colors.  her roots are coming in blonde, the middle of her hair is a reddish color and the ends are dark brown.  we'll just say she's very stylish.

yes, i have had my christmas decorations up since the week BEFORE thanksgiving.  i was just so excited to finally be able to put up our tree i couldn't wait and so trent's mom and i put it up while the boys put the doors in. we had a great thanksgiving and have so much to be thankful for.  there isn't enough time to type it all so i'll just type a few.  i am grateful for our "texas family" we have to best friends out here.  i am grateful for a hardworking husband so i can stay home with mya (whom i'm also grateful for) and i am grateful for the great texas weather! i wouldn't mind if it never got cold!
