christmas tree o christmas tree

i was so excited to finally be able to put up our tree.  this pretty little number has been in a box since just after our first christmas together.  oh how i missed it.  i realized that this picture isn't up to date but i'm too lazy to take another one.  I have a wreath hanging above the mantel on the wall and i have more snow flakes that my mom made me on the tree.  i wanted something sparkly for my mantel so when trents mom was here i drug her to hobby lobby with me (spent way to much $) and ended up making the rejoice.  it was so easy and fun, but i STILL have gold glitter everywhere. i love christmas, it's one of my favorite holidays.  not because of the presents, but because family ALWAYS gets together, people are cheery ALL month long and i spend more time thinking of the savior.
on another note, mya is growing up way too fast.  she never used a bottle and went straight for the sippy cup. she even holds it all by herself.  this little girl just amazes me.
we are STILL under construction (approaching 1 year) and trent finally got the thinset up from the kitchen floor.  i was vacuuming up all the dust.  trent took a picture, not because i was vacuuming concrete but because i was wearing his shoes and he thought it was hilarious. notice our kitchen table? well my neighbor gave it to me for FREE! I was ecstatic, i have some major plans for that table. pics to come later.
mya has decided to eat her bib instead of her cereal.  hopefully this is just a faze.
she is totally into the dog and tries to get to him any chance she can.  she stares at him all day.  he's still to fast for her, but not for long buddy.
nothing will stop her from getting what she wants.  she is def. like her momma.
here is a sneak peak at our family pictures.  i don't really like how most of them turned out so we are trying again this weekend and if they still don't turn out then i don't care.  it's too hard.
mya always pushes trent away when he gives her kisses.  i'm not sure why, maybe his face is too scratchy cuz she LOVES getting kisses from me.  sorry babe.

don't worry trent... sadie pushed me away and still pushes me away... when she learns how to give kisses though, you better take advantage.
