December

I know it's a little blurry but Maci started walking December 2cd.
The nursery got to start visiting the Primary during the month of December to get ready for their transition into Primary in January.  Mya loved it and talked about Primary all month long.
Maci is getting/wanting to be more independent.  We love going to the park and glad our weather is usually pretty nice in December.
The city of Round Rock puts on a light show through one of our parks and Mya got to ride with her head out the sun roof the entire drive.  She was in heaven!
We visited Trents work the Friday before Christmas and got pictures with Santa.  This is the first year Mya wasn't scared.
Maci on the other hand......

The next day we tried to go to the Austin Aquarium but the line was sooooo long we didn't want to wait.  So Trent looked at the GPS and found this place called Kiddie Karnival.  We were sort of skeptical once we got there cuz it looks really old and out of business, BUT it was awesome.  The rides are really for kids from about 2-maybe 10.  Mya had a blast and got to ride a horse for the first time.  She couldn't believe it! What a fun family outing.
That night the weather was perfect so we went to a cul-de-sac in Cedar Park called Anna Court.  We discovered it last year.  It is pretty amazing.  It is a double cul-de-sac and most of the houses participate and go all out decorating.  It's fun to get out and walk around.  We usually walk around at least 4 times.  One house hands out candy canes, another does hot chocolate.  It's perfect!
decorating cookies with my girl.  She loves it and is getting so good!

Unfortunately the day after Christmas Trent woke up sick.  Then two days later Maci got the croup.  Two days after that Mya had the throw up fever illness.  This went on the rest of Trents two weeks off:(  They all ended up at the doctor at least once.  Just when I thought everyone was getting better the girls both got Bronchitis.  And Trent ended up having to take two days off for a sinus and ear infection.  Let's just say it was a rough couple of weeks with very little sleep and a few nights "sleeping" on Maci's floor.  But I am so grateful that I never got sick (until everyone else was better) I guess there is always next year.
