this morning we went on a walk with some girls i know and weenie was a trooper. we walked about 3 miles through some water and mud (and weenie HATES water) well he made it through, but as soon as we got home and gave him a bath, this is where he has been the rest of the day. poor little guy has been exhausted all day, those little legs can only go for so long.........
on march 28th, weenie turned 2. i can't believe we have already had him for two years. Sometimes it feels like we just got him, even though he is like 10 times bigger. we watched marley and me for the first time the other night and i am so glad we have such a good dog. he has never done any of those things that marley did. and yes, i cried at the end. i am def. not looking forward to that time in his life. happy birthday buddy!
i went to walmart a few weeks ago to get him more dog food and noticed that they have cakes you can make that are ok for dogs to eat. so i bought it and as you can tell he loved it.
right as i was going to give it to him trent's mom yelled STOP and she grabbed some candles and a happy birthday sign for his little cake. he was getting so impatient, he wanted that cake so bad.

i let him lick the bowl, i'm such a good mom. haha! below is a video of him eating his cake. he didn't want anyone to come near him or touch him. i promise he's not mean.
for the next 4 days i am watching the kids of some friends of ours. i have watched them several times before and sometimes they just come over to spend the night and hang out with us. yep, trent and i are pretty cool! well over the summer they got a puppy. her name is holly and she is just adorable. so i am watching her today (i have today off) while the kids are at school. she is so tiny that it's hard to not step on her so i have to be really careful.
the dogs have played non stop. tiff-i think weenie thinks its ellie, he got so excited when he saw her and immediately started to play with her as if they had already played. i will let him think it's ellie so he will continue to play! holly (little stinker) kept me up all night barking, although i wouldn't quit call it a bark. so at 5 this morning i took her out to potty and then she wanted to play. so after i got the kids to school and trent off to school, i put holly in her kennel and laid in bed with weenie. both dogs were exhausted so they have pretty much been sleeping since 9 this morning, (thank goodness) only to occassionaly wake up and play for a bit. yeah and i snuck in a nap too! i am so not a morning person, especially not a 5 in the morning person.
