out trip was so fun. i was super sad to see it end. i haven't stayed in a hotel for a really long time and it was fun not to clean up after myself or make the bed. we left
wednesday night and stayed with my brother
dan and his wife
lauren in st.
george. the next morning we left weenie with them and took off for
vegas. the first night we just walked the strip and went to dinner at rain
forrest cafe. so yummy!
friday night we went to tournament of the kings. it was so awesome. the best show for families with little kids. for those who haven't been, you go and sit in countries-we were
france, and there are just long rows of tables. they bring you food BUT no utensils. it is supposed to be like it was back then. it was really fun to sip soup from the bowl and eat the broccoli and chicken with your hands. then knights come out on horses and sword fight and javelin and then defeat the dragon king. the kids loved the show, and our knight won!
saturday we went to henderson and met trents uncle henry at the shooting range and we all gave it a go. this picture of johnny is my favorite. doesn't he look like a smarty scientist? he loved pushing the buttons to throw the clays.
i also took my turn at pushing the buttons.
shooting a shot gun is so incredibly different then a hand gun. first off, i was a terrible aim, secondly it HURT. my arm is still sore and that was three days ago. it was tons of fun, but i could only handle one game.
trent loved shooting jasons shot gun, so now i think we will be getting one of those as well.
after we shot we met up with dan and lauren and hung out with them for the day and then went back to st. george with them for a couple days. i know i'm awesome for not getting pictures of that, but dan was sick so i don't think he wanted his picture taken. anyway- it was nice to hang out with them and spend some time with lauren. sorry about the car guys-hopefully unplugging the battery will work, if not we will figure it out. thanks for letting us stay, love you guys! weenie misses you already.
