our home

yesterday at approximately 4pm we closed on our house. i can't tell you how excited, relieved, scared and happy we are. the process of finding a home was super hard for us for some reason. we put 4 different offers on 4 different houses and all but this one fell through. we do feel that it was for a reason and this is the perfect house for us. we should be getting the keys this afternoon and i can't wait. i feel so happy to have found this house at this time. we are going to be making improvements and will slowly move over for the next month. just enough time for me to continue to help without having a huge belly. i am so happy that our baby will have it's own room that i can decorate (right across from our room) and that our guests won't have to sleep in our living room on an air mattress. trent makes fun of me because i love a good excuse to clean and i can't wait to get my hands on this house. that's all i talked about on the way home from the closing. i was telling trent where i was going to start and how i was going to clean each room, he just looked at me and laughed. we finally feel settled and that we actually have a place to call home and that is such a peaceful feeling....now COME AND VISIT!

I LOVE IT!!!! I love the classy brick look, always instyle and just so so nice. And I can't wait to come visit. I am so glad it finally worked out and in time like you said to get ready for the baby. So excited for you guys. You totally deserve it. Can't wait to see your decorating skills in action at your own house.

I don't love to clean, so much as I love how I feel when I am all done. The bigger you get the more you are going to want to clean, the nesting just takes over your brain. I scrubbed the tracks of our windows with a toothbrush. Have fun decorating!

Emily, this is Jill McIntosh Courville, I am so happy to find you, Kim, and your family. You have the most recent post on this site, and I would love it if you could get in touch with Kim and let her know I would love to catch up. Congratulations on your new house, baby, and LIFE!! I still picture you as a 10 years old in pink tights! I hope your parents are well. By the way I am your neighbor, I live in Louisiana! Hope to hear from y'all soon.

Sadie says you have to have a girl... knowing our family history though it'll probably be a boy... Poor Sadie and Kinsee... They'll have to wait another 8 years before another girl can be born into the Stock family.
