moving day

last saturday we moved out of the apartment and into the new home. i actually was a little sad to leave the apartment, we had been there for 6 months and it was cozy and already unpacked and livable. we don't have much stuff so we just had a few friends come over to help. i got some gatorade and yummy Round Rock donuts for everyone. trent wanted a specific cinnamon roll they have and so when i discovered they gave me the wrong one i had to go back in the store and correct it. man i'm an awesome wife :)

this is jaxon, our friends cutie little boy. julie came over with mark and helped me A TON carrying out little things. i was on baby duty (the easiest part) while everyone else worked away. ( i guess it pays off to be pregnant while you move) i gave him a little bowl of crunch berries to snack on and he grabbed weenies animal called him over and then proceeded to give weenie his crunch berries one by one. it was the cutest thing ever.

once it stopped raining jaxon wanted to be outside with the big boys. he kept trying to go up the ramp and i would have to run after him and grab him at the last second before he fell, the ramp was slippery from the rain. isn't he just the cutest?

so now that we are completely out of the apartment this is what i'm dealing with. a crazy zoo of a house and what seems like never ending boxes. i just keep telling myself, this too shall pass (as my mom would say)

if you don't know me very well, chaos and disorganization drive me bonkers. so it's killing me that there are boxes and miscellanious things EVERYWHERE. but i know it takes time and i'm actually starting to feel that i am getting somewhere.

of course weenie has to be into everything and "help out". i really think he is just searching for the boxes with food in them. thank you so much to everyone who helped us move. we could not have done it without you. it was so nice to be able to get moved in about 3 hours. maybe you guys need to come back and unpack for me. any takers? ok, well it was worth a try.

a couple days ago we actually got some snow that stuck to the ground, well the grass. the cement and roads were still too warm from the day before. this is a view from my front door. i actually wasn't too happy about this. it was FREEZING. and this was the day we discovered that our air was coming on with our heater and we had to shut the heater off. thank goodness we have a heater for upstairs and downstairs so we just stayed upstairs all night.

can you see how big the flakes are? this is the view from my back porch. of course i had to force weenie to go outside. he actually likes the snow and ran around for a bit once he went out.

That's awesome you got all moved in! Unpacking is no fun, but pretty soon you'll be all organized. :) Have fun setting up your new house!!
