christmas

we had a great first christmas with mya.  once mya woke up this is what we came down to.  santa made it to our house and even left a stocking for trents parents since they came christmas night.

mya was definitely spoiled this year. *notice trents wrapping job in the background?

she didn't care too much for the presents, she knows whats good, she headed straight for the candy

she also loved the paper.  trent let her get a hold of the paper towel roll and she went to town

trents parents flew in later christmas night and we saved their presents for that night.  mya loved tearing off the paper and shoving it her mouth.

a little paper never hurt anybody right?

of course i was excited to go to church the next day to show of myas "grandma dress".  my grandma always sent us a beautiful dress every christmas and my mom is carrying on the tradition and sent mya this gorgeous dress.  hence it's the "grandma dress" because it comes from grandma.

mya absolutely loved trents dad.  she would actually reach for him.  she only does that for me.  she even let him put her to sleep which she never lets anyone but me do that, not even trent.  he just laid her in his arms and tickled her face and she fell right asleep. poopa you are the best!

she LOVES this toy.  it also has a stand that mya can lay under and kick the pedal at the bottom and it plays songs.  she just kicks and kicks and changes the song every couple notes.  a little annoying for everybody but her.

trents mom said that mya needed to give us a fashion show of all her new clothes and so she dressed mya in everything, which resulted in mya finding every tag and shoving it into her mouth.  i don't know what it is with kids and tags.

we had so much for over the last two weeks.  trents parents decided two days before christmas that they were coming to visit.  it was the first time in who knows that they didn't go anywhere and were alone, so they decided to come.  we went out to eat almost every night because we are right in the middle of our kitchen remodel and didn't have counter tops, cook top or sink.  trent and his dad worked really hard on the kitchen *pics to come* they put an electrical outlet in the island.  dug in the cement to move the water line so we could push the fridge back. put in the new microwave and so many more things i'll wait until the next post.  i am so sad christmas is over.  we are now back to our same old routine.  i loved having everybody here and relaxing and hanging out.  i can't wait until next year!
