This last month has been crazy.  You are exploring and into EVERYTHING.  I thought I had more time to baby proof but I was wrong.  In a matter of seconds you broke a picture frame (the frame not the glass) and you also broke a big candle stick.  The stairs are your favorite thing.  You can go up them like a pro but when you are ready to come down you just arch your back and fall backwards.  Needless to say someone has to be right there at all times.  Until we got a gate I would put the stroller in front of the stairs and then a chair and it only took you about .25 seconds to maneuver and get through.

You finally figured out how to get out of the bumbo so we had to get you a high chair.  But you decided that you no longer like to be fed and HAVE to feed yourself. You will not eat anything that you can't put in your mouth yourself.  I  have had to be very creative because you don't have any teeth yet.  I found out that if you roll slippery things in mashed up cherrios then you can grasp them and it makes eating time VERY messy but doable.  You LOVE LOVE LOVE yogurt and I have to save it for last otherwise you won't eat anything else.  The sippy cup has become your new best friend.  You think you are so big when you drink from it.  Thanks for loving it and not making me get bottles.

You are finally sleeping like a champ (which will end when you decide to get teeth i'm sure) but for now we are loving it.  As long as you have your lovey you are good to go.  You don't like to be put to sleep, you like to roll around in your crib with your face smashed in your lovey until you fall asleep.  you still take 2 naps and usually 2 hours each!!!!!

You finally learned who dadda is and say it all day long.  you can also say momma and mo (more) and i swear you say da (dog) you've done it twice now so we'll see if it was just a fluke. Just the other day you rolled a ball back and forth with dad.  he was very proud.  you never cease to amaze me at all the things you can do.  You have become so independent and I hate it.  You still follow me around like a shadow but I cherish those moments because as soon as you are ok playing alone I know you won't follow me around anymore.  you love all animals especially the duck, you get so excited every time you see one. we love you more then you will know mya and are so grateful for your happy spirit and presence in our home.  you are our sweet baby girl!
