 Mya loved all the attention she got from gma!

 Trent's parents got us a deep freeze for Christmas and they are playing in the box

 Mya figured out how to pedal her tricycle with the help of grandpa

 Maci and grandpa have a special bond.  He was the only one that could calm her down and get her to sleep:)

the girls got matching dresses from my mom and I just so happened to have my outfit from a long time ago and so I dressed us all alike for church.  I have to while they will let me:)

This year Mya was totally into Christmas.  We did an advent calendar and she learned a few of the Christmas songs like Rudolph and jingle bells.  But when it came to seeing the real Santa she wanted nothing to do with him.  I was not surprised.  The car ride to our ward Christmas breakfast she talked about sitting on Santa's lap and telling him she wanted a baby doll and toys but as soon as she saw him she changed her mind.  Maybe next year:)

Mya was obsessed with Christmas lights and lawn ornaments so we would go searching for good neighborhoods nearly every night.  One weekend it was in the 70's so we wanted to go somewhere we could get out and walk around.  We found this double cul-da-sac that has awesome lights and almost every house participates.  We got there pretty early and for awhile where the only ones there.  One of the guys took Mya down to his Santa that reads a story and gave her a candy cane.  We circled the block about 10 times before we could get Mya to leave.

 we also we over to our friends house and made sugar cookies.  the girls had a blast and we managed to handle the girls and two newborns!

 Christmas was so fun this year!  Mya was so spoiled and she loved everything.  It's pretty easy to make a toddler happy. 

 one day we took of and went to the Waco zoo.  It was chillly but there were no lines and front row seats.  Mya had a blast and we watched this elephant eat for like 45 minutes.  Maci was a trooper and stayed asleep in her stroller all bundled up!  We made one trip to the car to warm up have lunch and feed Maci.  It was such a fun day.

Mother Goose visited Mya on New Years and brought her a doctor kit and the owl.  We did the usual go to the Hatch's and light off fireworks on New Years Eve but Mya didn't like them so we took her in and she watched Enchanted on the tv and had some snacks then we went home about 8.

We had a great Christmas vacation.  It was our first Christmas alone since we have been married.  We missed having company but had a good time with just the 4 of us.  We were invited to a friends house for Christmas Eve and that was so fun and nice to be around our Texas family. We are so blessed to have 2 beautiful healthy girls.  We love watching them grow each day.  Here's to a great 2013
