we had a pretty low key 4th. We just hung out most of the day and then went to dinner with our friends down the street. After dinner we decided to stop at a fireworks stand and get a few fireworks. We knew the girls were too young to really care and Mya hates loud noises. We got a few sparklers, roman candles and smoke bombs and two small fountains. Maci liked them but Mya not so much. We did get her to hold a sparkler with me and she said she liked it but didn't want to do more. Our neighbors next door and from down the street came over. The kids had a great time lighting off the rest of the fireworks and hanging out. The weather was actually pretty cool so we didn't cook sitting outside. And yes we lit all our fireworks off before it even got a little bit dark:)
