clear back in september

 i'm playing catch up and even contemplated blogging all of this but it's my journal and it will eventually turn into a photo book so here ya go.  back in september i turned 28.  we didn't do much but it was a great weekend.  my birthday fell on a sunday so i got lots of birthday wishes at church and then we fed the missionaries that night.  it's not fun getting closer to 30 and i am struggling with that a bit, but what can ya do.

 trent always makes my favorite cake, confetti cake with sprinkles, i just love it!

 i never told trent what i wanted for my birthday so i wasn't sure i would get anything.  but he completely surprised me with a second monitor for the computer.  we had talked about it like 8 months prior and i had told him it would be nice when i'm working on a kitchen to have one view on a screen and another view on a different screen.  makes it so much easier! thanks babe for remember after all those months.

 we also refinanced our house right in the middle of all our construction but the interest rate was too good to pass up, so here i am at midnight finally painting the area that we had that pole removed about 9 months prior, yeah i know i'm a little slow.

 things never seem to be to dull around our house.  two days before my birthday trent was out painting something in the lawn and while the first coat dried he thought he would be productive and pull a couple weeds, i was over at the other end of the lawn hand water our trees and all of the sudden i saw him jump up and scream run over to the water and put his had in it.  i thought for sure he got bit by a snake or scorpion but nope just fire ants. 

 come to find out he is highly allergic to them and your reaction gets worse every time you get bit.  his hand swelled up right away but it took about 15 hours for the red streaks to apprear.  once i saw those we headed to instant care.  the doc gave him a nice shot in the rear! so basically now trent has to be extra careful so who do you think the lawn care fell into the hands of.........me:(

 mya being silly

 one saturday afternoon trent was in the garage tiling and mya and i were playing in the front and trent filled his water bucket for the saw and next thing we knew mya was trying to get in so i took off her clothes and put her in it, she had a blast.

 well that turned into my cute little neighbor bringing the hose over and playing with mya for a very long time. she would chase her and mya would run screaming it was the cutest thing ever!

 this is by far my favorite shot.  love that chubby bum!

i also painted mya's toenails for the first time.  it actually worked out really well and she walked around the house pointing to her toes saying peeeeee (pretty) she loved it!  well that catches me up for september!
