Easter

we went to our ward easter egg hunt and Mya was pretty timid (as expected) there were tons of kids, lots that were much bigger than she.  BUT the family who does it runs it so the smaller kids get to go first then after a while the next group of kids and the really big kids go in the barn.  it worked out perfect and once Mya realized there was candy she was pretty darn excited.

I was shocked when she asked to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.  That is leaps and bounds better than she was with Santa.  Little did she know it was one of her nursery leaders:)

This is what happens when you ask Mya to stop chewing her candy and smile.
After some coaxing (and maybe a little candy) she smiled nice and big for us
she is so very quickly leaving the toddler behind and becoming a little girl *tear
opening her basket from the Easter Bunny.  She was pretty excited to come home and find the Easter Bunny had left her a trail of jelly beans all the way upstairs to her basket:)

she pretty much knew that since the Easter Bunny brought her a basket that he probably hid some eggs outside.  She was right:)
We had a great Easter with some friends down the street.  We talked about the Savior with Mya and Maci.  We are so very grateful for the Atonement and all the blessings we have in our life.  Hope everyone had a great Easter!
